Johanna's coloring was painstaking achieved by two methods along with using Genesis heat set paints. The process took several days to achieve natural skin tone. No attention to detail was left out, all of her creases and folds are shaded. and she received a new manicure on her fingers and toes.
Hair and Glass Eyes
Johanna hair was rooted with beautiful warm brown soft Angora mohair which is easily restyled when dampened. Johanna has beautiful grey/green glass eyes and she has dark brown wispy human hair eyelashes. Her nose has been opened so she can breathe.
Johanna's body, dress and pantaloons were completely handmade. It took me about 2 days to complete her dress. The dress is lined with pink batiste and has a bottom ruffle edged in lace. I then covered the pink with white lace fabric and added 2 rows of ruffled lace. I finished the dress off with tiny pink satin roses. Her cute little pink leather shoes with bow and lace trimmed socks completes her outfit. She is also wearing her fresh diaper and laced trimmed pantaloons. Johanna's ears are pierced and she is wearing a pair of crystal "diamond" earrings. Johanna has 1/4" arms and 1/4" legs and her new jointed body is filled with tiny glass beads sealed in a sack and premium poly-fil which doesn't bunch up.
Magnetic Pacifier
The magnet used for these pacifiers are very strong! Please use caution around electronic equipment and pacemakers. Do not place them near your computer, credit cards, anything with a magnet strip...and please .. keep away from pacemakers.
Coming Home
Johanna will arrive home in her new pink cordoroy rumper. Yes, I will be sending her pink lacy dress too! Along with her pacifier, I.D. Bracelet, and a care instruction sheet.
